Accounting Assistant Essential Functions & Duties Summary:
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
Code and enter invoices into Financial Force Accounting System for payment.
Assist in cutting checks for all invoices once distributed and approved by appropriate departments twice a month.
Journal Entries
Primary back-up to Accounts Receivable Manager for daily tasks to include, but not limited to reconcile credit card statements, daily deposits, recording payments in SalesForce, etc.
Responsible for reconciling vendor statements monthly and correcting any inaccurate data.
Making adjusting Journal Entries for month end.
Other Duties as Assigned
Accounting Assistant Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field, preferred.
1-2 years related accounting experience in General Ledger, A/P, A/R and/or training, preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, required.
Experience working in SalesForce, desired.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports, so an aptitude in math and problem-solving equations is required.

Competitive pay $18.40 to $27.60 per hour depending on qualifications.
